Botham's Bakers
Elizabeth Botham set up her bakery in the ancient fishing port of Whitby over 150 years ago. Botham's traditions are now proudly continued by the fifth generation of her family. They are famous for their Whitby lemon buns,Yorkshire brack and more.


Whitby Distillery
At Whitby Distillery, they take pride in their authentic craftsmanship, ensuring that every drop of their gin and rum reflects the unique spirit of Whitby. Their distillation process is an art form, a dedication to both tradition and innovation.


Whitby Krampus Run
Whitby Krampus Run is their own particular interpretation and take on the age old European ritual, weaving in local folklore and wintry figures alongside our Krampus, Perchten and St. Nicholas. Celebrating an alternative Yule, aiming to bring the wonder and excitement of the festive season back in the ideal setting of Whitby’s streets.


KV Arist Blacksmith
Qualified and Award Winning Designer and Creator of Bespoke Metal Work.This Yorkshire Coast based Sculptor and Blacksmith creates lasting, quality Public and Private commissions.Her work is often inspired by the countryside's flora and fauna, by their form, texture and movement.


Whitby Lobster Hatchery
Whitby Lobster Hatchery create an inspirational and engaging way to teach young and old about the benefits of looking after our environment and also provide a space to study and research our marine habitats. Working closely with the Yorkshire coast fishing industry they aim to release 100,000 juvenile lobsters into the ocean every year.


Lacey Brown Art
Lacey is a talented local artist based in Whitby, where she works from her garden studio and workshop. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of mediums, though she loves using natural materials like wool for her pet portraits and wood for crafting decorative homeware.

Jack has been supporting Whitby's businesses with digital services and marketing support since 2007. Handling everything from graphic design to software development, Hello Technology is proud to support Made in Whitby.


Propagansey
Delve deeper into the fascinating world of the knitted gansey or guernsey. A close-fitting, usually seamless garment, frequently dark blue, often knitted in worsted wool on fine needles, traditionally worn by fishermen along much of the English & Scottish coastline, also Holland.

Historical pieces of sea glass hand-picked by Eve and her family from the local Whitby beaches and carefully crafted into hand-made, unique, bespoke gifts.The natural sea glass provides a range of stunning colours and designs, packed with the local history of the sea.


Nature's Laboratory Ltd
Founded in 2002 by James Fearnley, Nature's Laboratory is a leading manufacturer of natural health products. They spearhead in-depth research and analysis and are developing innovative technology to drive the natural health industry forward.


Janet Fraser Stained Glass
Janet's interest in glass started as a hobby ten years ago, she enjoyed experimenting and making gifts for friends and family. Over time she's honed her skills and developed her own style in design. She is passionate about her work and loves bringing old traditional windows back to life, as well as working with clients to create modern bespoke windows. Alongside this Janet makes smaller glass designs and works with the copper foil technique which enables her to make more detail pieces.


Alice in Shedland
A story teller like no other, you will find her telling tales and sharing stories of sea shanties as her time as a herring girl or jolly jane tar are played out for all to enjoy.


Baytown Coffee
Everything they do is driven by their love of coffee, from the independent farmers who grow it, to all that drink it. Baytown's home is in Northern England just outside the seaside town of Whitby. The roastery was an old cowshed which was converted in 2019.


Little Whitby Potter
A little potter by the sea, Amy is a small batch potter inspired by the Whitby coastline and surrounding moorlands. Amy works from her garden studio, pottery has been a hobby that became an obsession for over 10 years. Her work can be found at a local café situated within Whitby museum in Pannett park.


Sheveling Wine
Experience the beauty of Robin Hoods Bay Vineyard, nestled above Robin Hoods Bay village on the North Yorkshire coast. Our vineyard, established in 2017, has flourished to produce exceptional wines since 2022.


The Whitby Witch
Nestled in the heart of Whitby, where the sea whispers secrets to the cliffs, are candles that are more than wax and wick... Inspired by the folklore of Whitby and born of salt-kissed air and memories, these candles conjure the essence of Whitby’s rugged shores. Each scent dances like seaweed in the tide, a symphony of plant-based wax, cotton wicks, and high-quality fragrance oils.

Whitby Sea Salt
A small family run business producing Whitby Sea Salt using the most environmentally friendly methods available. Whitby Sea Salt is made using centuries old methods of only the wind and the sun, ensuring all the minerals found in the sea are retained in the salt. The whole process from the collection in the sea to the production of the salt is done by hand.


Fortune's Smokehouse
Fortune’s shop and smokehouse is still trading on the same premises over 150 years on. Through five generations of the family, the skills of smoking and airing in the traditional way is still practiced. The shop is not only famous for its Kippers but also its smoked bacon, kipper pate and more.


Whitby Brewery
Whitby Brewery has quickly gained an excellent reputation, with their beers now available in a large number of pubs, bars, restaurants and shops in Whitby. Even better still their beers can be enjoyed alongside a pizza at the brewery itself with the historic Abbey as its beautiful backdrop.
